Plumridge and Co have been selling stamps by auction for more than 120 years. Therefore, we have a sizable archive of our auction catalogues dating back to the early part of the 20th Century (examples can be found in the About us section of our website). Many of our customers have been dealing with us for many years and have complete faith in our auction catalogue descriptions. Our customers both buy stamps and sell stamps in our auctions. Over the years we have sold many rare stamps in our auctions either as individual items or included in larger collections. Many of our buyers are collectors looking to fill specific gaps in their private collections and sometimes have duplicates or surplus items which get consigned to our auction in the knowledge we always do our best to maximise realisations. You will find our earlier catalogues being sold by various auction houses on a regular basis.
